There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, yet here you are. That’s no accident, that’s good design. Here’s a little background about how we got here.

Hi, my name is Candice Shar, former owner of Twiggy Vinyl Wall Art and founder of Loca Design. The journey really began about 20 years ago while working for my aunt as a builder (yes, you read that correctly, I’ll give you a minute). At the end of a very tiring day, my aunt told me she didn’t want to stifle my dreams but she wasn’t convinced this was the best career move, and asked if I could do ANYTHING what would it be? I answered without hesitation, “I want to be the best designer in the world!” She graciously replied with “maybe just aim for designer”. And so began my journey and love for design.

I’ve had the privilege of working for smaller agencies like Sliced Cheese as well as world renowned agencies like The International Trend Institute. My greatest takeaway is that I want to spend my life exceeding clients’ expectations, making companies (and their competitors) say WOW!

So it was with great excitement that after almost 20 years in the industry, I launched Loca Design Agency.
